Collection: MAKE SPACE

Let's face it, it's easy to make excuses why not to make time for ourselves, why not to take a minute to catch our breath, not make room for whatever it is that brings us joy, as frivolous as it may seem at the time.  If we stay caught up in the mundane, the logistical rinse and repeat, the overconsumption of nonsense that we can't have, don't deserve the things that make us giddy, that make us relax, that make us feel calm, feel healthy, live long, love large and be excited for the days ahead, then where's the living in that?  

The philosophy and artworks behind the MAKE SPACE collection, were inspired and captured on an isolated, serene, Costa Rican beach off the beaten path, amidst an escape from the notorious rat race.  I travelled my very pregnant self, swollen feet and tired soul, on an adventure.  I walked along the beach taking it all in, watching as the salt water washed away the swelling of my hilariously huge hobbit feet and felt the worries about what lay ahead quiet for a while.  As the breeze rolled across my face, I took pictures, soaked up the calm, and chose to make space for myself.
